Efu Nyaki describes her life growing up in Tanzania and later moving to Brazil where she has been working with Dr. Paul Levine's process of "Somatic Experiencing" to heal trauma. Efu also describes the importance of healing ancestral trauma.

Euphrasia (Efu) Nyaki was born and raised in Tanzania where she earned a bachelor of science degree, trained as a Science  teacher, and later  trained as an holistic healer. Efu is a Faculty Member of Somatic Experiencing®, and a Professor of Family Constellation System Therapy by Hellinger Institute.

For 27 years, Efu has been living in Brazil where she facilitates training sessions and therapies for trauma healing, using Somatic Experiencing® and Family Constellation System Therapy (generational trauma healing). 

While living in Brazil, Efu has also facilitated a variety of trainings and workshops on healing trauma healing in such countries as India, Egypt, South Korea, China, Bolivia, Peru, Spain, Uruguay, Tanzania, Philippines and Hong Kong.  

During the 2020-2021 Pandemic, Efu has been doing individual therapy sessions and group trainings online. In 2014 she was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress for the 9^th District of Pennsylvania. In 2011 she received the International Earth Day Award from the Earth Society Foundation. Her 2001 E.F. Schumacher Lecture was published as Democracy, Earth Rights and the Next Economy.

 In 1993 she initiated tax reform legislation and worked with state Senator Terry Punt and his staff to guide it through Pennsylvania legislative hearings to nearly unanimous passage of Senate Bill 211, signed by Governor Thomas Ridge as Act 108 in November of 1998.

She has lectured in 22 countries and her published articles on tax reform are used by legislators in the states of Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and New York. Her articles are referenced in the literature of the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) in California, a recent issue of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis Review, Dialogues, a publication of the Canada West Foundation, and in several books, including the Worldwatch Institute book by David Roodman, The Natural Wealth of Nations and Creating a Sustainable World, an anthology edited by Trent Schroyer and Tom Golodik. She is one of several people featured in Planet Champions: Adventures in Saving the World - New Paths to Peace, Prosperity & Human Rights, authored by Jack Yost.

Paul Levy shares his fascinating life's work of synthesizing the realms of quantum physics, alchemy, shamanism, Buddhism, Kabbalah, mystical Christianity and the works of C.G. Jung. He paints a unique picture of how we can heal our global trauma (related to what he calls "wetiko") and create Heaven on Earth.

Born in 1956, Paul Levy grew up in Yonkers, New York. In 1981, due to an intense personal trauma, he had a life-changing spiritual awakening in which he began to recognize the dreamlike nature of reality. During the first year of his spiritual emergence, Paul was hospitalized a number of times, and was told he was having a "severe psychotic break from reality." Mis-diagnosed as having a chemical imbalance, now called bi-polar disorder, doctors told Paul that he would have to live with his illness and take medication for the rest of his life.

Over time Paul realized that he was taking part in a mystical awakening and shamanic initiation process, which at times mimicked psychosis but in actuality was a spiritual experience that lay outside of the map of the psychiatric system. As Paul freed himself from the narrow shackles of the psychiatric worldview, he found his spiritual teachers, who recognized that he was in the process of spiritually awakening. Drawn to art, Paul became a certified art teacher, and, attracted to the work of C. G. Jung, he became the manager of the C. G. Jung Foundation Book Service in New York and advertising manager for the Jungian journal Quadrant. 

In 1993, Paul started to openly share his insights through talks and facilitating groups, based on how life is a shared waking dream that we are all co-creating and co-dreaming together. He is the founder of the Awakening in the Dream Community in Portland, Oregon. 

Paul is the author of The Madness of George Bush: A Reflection of Our Collective Psychosis (2006), Dispelling Wetiko: Breaking the Curse of Evil (2013), Awakened by Darkness: When Evil Becomes Your Father (2015) and The Quantum Revelation: A Radical Synthesis of Science and Spirituality (2018). A Tibetan Buddhist practitioner for over 30 years, Paul has studied with some of the greatest spiritual masters of Tibet and Burma. He was the coordinator of the Portland chapter of the PadmaSambhava Buddhist Center for over twenty years.
